Atlanta's best writers take the stage to read their work, explain their process, and answer audience questions in an engaged and intimate environment.
This month's writers are:
Molly Brodak, Rita Nicole Leslie, and Benjamin Carr.
Rita is an Atlanta native, copywriter, comedian and co-producer of Bleux Stockings Society.
She has roots in improv from Village Theater and has performed at Write Club, Phoenix Fest, both Scene and Song Missing, LadyFest, NewsFlash and Debate ATL.
Benjamin Carr is a writer, editor, storyteller and playwright. His work has appeared in The Guardian, Pembroke Magazine, Ain't It Cool News, Scene Missing Magazine, The Five Hundred compilation 'We Wrote a Book' and Loose Change Magazine. His stage work and storytelling have been featured at Dad's Garage, Onstage Atlanta, the Center for Puppetry Arts, WRCK, PBA 30, Naked City, Carapace, Stories on the Square, Stories on the Edge of Night, Write Club Atlanta, True Story, the Canton Arts Festival, HydeATL and The Moth. He is a co-founder of Gutwrench Journal. His next play 'Ground Chuck' will be performed as part of the Halloween show 'Things That Go Bump' at Onstage Atlanta Oct. 30. Go see it.
