Java Monkey Speaks Features Liz Prisley

Liz Prisley is a spoken word artist and educator based in the Tampa Bay area of Florida. She has taught writing in many forms over the past decade from creative writing to college composition in locations across the country from Virginia to Florida and even in Germany as a Fulbright Scholar. She is the co-founder of monthly slam and writing workshop The Speak Tank, as well as Education Director for Heard Em Say Youth Arts Collective, a nonprofit dedicated to youth empowerment through creative arts. In her spare time she likes to cuddle kittens and has an insatiable hankering for frozen yogurt, particularly anything birthday cake flavored.
